Dear Classmates...Recently I heard this 86 year old lady on our local radio station asking for help. She lives 384 miles from me in a small town called St. John. She lives on $700 per month and sews clothes by the hundreds for the orphans in Mexico, who if are dressed nicely have a better chance of being adopted. She is in need of fabric, thread, buttons, ribbon, lace and also sewing machines and a serger ($198.00 in Walmart). She goes thru 2 sewing machines every 2 years. A friend of mine brought 4 boxes of fabric etc. to her last week and it only filled 20% of her shelves..This is a also a good way to get rid of your stuff...Mary Wheat,897 Hillcrest,2A,St John,AZ.85936..any questions please call me at 928-855-4690...Thank you and have a wonderful and Merry Christmas.

Jeannie, I'm sure you'll remember all the fun we had in Pittsfield, It's so good to hear from our classmates again. I would be really happy to send fabric, lace, etc. She sounds like a wonderful person. Thanks for letting everyone know.
Oh Judy, I do remember the good times we had together especially the sleep-overs at your home...smile...let's talk soon and catch up...jprh@frontiernet.net or by phone...or come see me.....Thanks for your help with May.....I'm hoping I receive enough supplies here that I can travel and bring them to her......Jeanie
