Bob Bascom, U.S. Coast Guard Reserve   I served in the U. S. Coast Guard Reserve from May 30, 1961 to May 30, 1969. I received my basic training in Cape May, New Jersey and was on a 324 foot Coast Guard Cutter the Unimac for 1 month.  I attended weekly drills at the Navy Training Center on Onota Lake Boulevard.  I had two week Active Duty Training in Yorktown VA, Sandy Hook NJ, Rockport ME, Boston MA and Groton CT.  I became a Yeoman 3rd Class.
